CROWN: delivering surprising creative perspectives and solutions since 2011.

The agency space has been largely dominated by holding companies since the 80s. The model, where a parent company owns multiple smaller advertising, marketing, and media agencies, benefits from operational efficiencies.. and there is an advantage for designers and other talent as well.

They are not quite there yet, revenue-wise, but CROWN has been growing their business since 2011 and is adamant about continuing to grow through client retention, new business wins, and M&A with other agencies. CROWN’s goal is to IPO within 5-7 years.

CROWN is modeling its M&A trajectory against Stagwell Inc. and seeks both stability and global scale; however, leadership recognizes that size is not an asset when major technological change like AI is afoot, and aims to build smart generative AI-based processes into the foundation of CROWN’s future growth. The CROWN team believes that the operational changes that will be possible through AI will also take the large holding companies like WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Interpublic Group, Dentsu, and Havas a long, long time to implement, and in the meantime, small-but-growing firms with native AI processes will eat their lunch and become the pacesetters for innovation, strategy, and creativity.

Apart from revenue, awards are another critical metric for ranking agencies. Awards symbolize recognition of creativity, campaign effectiveness, and innovative approaches to problem-solving within the industry. It is CROWN’S goal to become one of the top agencies, creating amazing and effective work for their clients and submitting work for awards like Cannes Lions, D&AD, and The Clio Awards. Winning at such events is a testament to an agency's prowess in creative thinking and execution. Thus far, CROWN has won three silver ADDY awards for digital and influencer-based campaigns as well as a variety of notable mentions.

CROWN stresses both traditional and digital marketing capabilities, and strives to build and streamline the agency’s expertise across the marketing spectrum. CROWN was founded in 2011 as a social media agency and became a full-service agency offering end-to-end solutions, including strategic planning, digital marketing, public relations, media buying, and creative production. This breadth allows CROWN’s clients to leverage cross-functional teams, typically leading to above-average results.

The rise of digital platforms and technologies has significantly influenced the advertising industry. Digital agencies, influencers, programmatic advertising, and data-driven strategies have become integral components of the modern advertising mix. These advancements have further democratized the advertising space, allowing smaller, nimble agencies like CROWN to compete effectively against the giants by leveraging specialized skills, innovative tools, and unique strategies.
